Quality delivered with pride

We take pride in delivering projects that meet or exceed our clients' expectations. To achieve this, we have developed a comprehensive quality program that leverages the latest technology and best practices in the industry. Here we highlight some of the key elements of our quality program, including our use of QA/QC audits, drone overlays, and our internal VDC department.

QA/QC audits

We conduct regular QA/QC audits at each stage of the project, from pre-construction to closeout, using a standardized checklist and documentation system.

QA stands for Quality Assurance, which is the process of ensuring that the project conforms to the design specifications, contract requirements, and regulatory codes. QC stands for Quality Control, which is the process of verifying that the project meets the quality standards and expectations of the client and other stakeholders.

Our QA/QC auditors utilize the Predictive Solutions app to electronically collect and aggregate data on quality issues. They inspect the work for defects, errors, deviations, non-conformities, or inconsistencies, and report their findings and recommendations to the project team. They also follow up on the corrective actions and preventive measures taken to ensure that the issues are resolved.

Our QA/QC audits are not only beneficial for us, but also for our clients and partners. They provide transparency, accountability, and assurance that the project is being delivered according to the agreed-upon criteria and expectations. They also help us identify and mitigate potential risks, avoid costly rework or delays, and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

QA/QC audits are a vital tool for monitoring, measuring, and improving the quality of our work throughout the project lifecycle.

Drone overlays

Drone overlays are a powerful tool for visualizing and communicating the project status and issues to the project team, the client, and other stakeholders. They enable us to monitor the project progress and performance in real time, and make informed decisions and adjustments as needed. They also help us verify the accuracy and completeness of the work, and identify and rectify any errors or defects before they become major problems. Furthermore, drone overlays can be used to generate accurate and detailed reports and documentation of the project, which can be used for quality control, compliance, and auditing purposes.

VDC Department

VDC stands for Virtual Design and Construction, which is the process of creating and managing digital models of the project throughout the project lifecycle. VDC involves using various software tools and applications, such as BIM (Building Information Modeling), to design, coordinate, simulate, optimize, and visualize the project in a virtual environment, before and during the actual construction.

At Donley's, we have a dedicated VDC department that consists of skilled and experienced professionals who provide VDC services and solutions to our projects. Our VDC department works closely with the project team, the client, and other stakeholders to understand their needs based on specific project requirements. Some of the benefits of our VDC services include:

  • Improved design assist and constructability
  • Enhanced collaboration and coordination
  • Increased efficiency and productivity
  • Reduced risk and cost
